UPDATE ON McCALL’s WEST AFRICA BOOK-TO-MOVIE PROJECT, FILMING IN 2020:

In Pursuit of Jubilee, the screen adaptation of a book McCall co-wrote by the same title, published in 2017, about the riveting, true story of a $100 billion oil discovery in Western Africa, and the brutal, years-long battle that ensued to try to imprison the rightful owner of his share of the find. Development of the movie version has been launched, with McCall set as Producer/Writer. Script is being detail budgeted, a shooting schedule prepared, and filming will take place in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi, Ghana, as well as Houston, Dallas, and London.
